The global benchmark standard for gold and silver
LBMA stands for London Bullion Market Association, the international association representing the London wholesale gold and silver market. Founded in 1987, it sets the quality standards ("Good Delivery") for bars and defines the global benchmark prices for precious metals.
Standard-setting authority
The LBMA guarantees the quality and authenticity of precious metals. The "Good Delivery" list defines the requirements for minimum purity of 99.5% and weight that are recognized worldwide for bars.
Price setting
It administers the LBMA Gold Price (formerly known as the London Gold Fixing), the international benchmark price set twice a day — morning and afternoon — for gold and silver.
International membership
It includes more than 150 members worldwide, among them banks, refineries, mining companies and traders from more than 30 countries.
Institutional oversight
It operates under the direct supervision of the Bank of England, which guarantees the integrity and reliability of every standard and process it establishes.
We offer our customers only LBMA-certified gold, which provides the highest level of security available on the market!
